FAQ:
•Will guests stand there while portraits are created?
—No. To manage pacing, an assistant will take all photographs and guests will return later in the evening to pick up their watercolor portrait.
What if a guest leaves early without picking up their portrait?
—If they are not picked up by the end of the night, all portraits will be given to the event planner, coordinator, or host of event (if there is not a designated planner).
Can I get a portrait alone, and with a friend?
—We limit guests to only get one portrait made each, so all guests have equal opportunity.
How long does each portrait take?
—It takes about 5 minutes to create an individual guest portrait, and 10 minutes for a couple. We suggest an approximate guest count with pricing, which includes transition time between each portrait.
How many people can be in one portrait?
—We try to limit 3 people/portrait.
•Do you cut off the list at the end of the evening?
—Yes, we will stick to the hired timing and portrait estimate. We will not take on additional guest portraits to complete in the studio. Please carefully review our pricing options to book the best package for your event.
•How large is each portrait?
—Illustration size depends on the amount of people drawn. Individuals are 4x6” and couples are 6x8.”
•Can portraits be painted on custom paper for our event?
—Absolutely! The easiest route is to buy a custom stamp from Etsy or Zazzle. Please inquire about this so we can recommend the best options!
Do travel fees apply to all artists hired?
—Our team is primarily based out of Tennessee, but located in different cities. Travel fees may apply depending on where your event is located, and how many artists you need. These travel fees are calculated individually by each artist. Nashville & Chattanooga are our local zones.
Do all guest typically want a portrait made?
—No, based off previous events, we would say about 75% of your guests will inquire about a portrait. Please use this percentage to hire the appropriate amount of artists & time frame.
