Meet the instructor

  • After-school lessons are taught by local artist & educator, Emily Anderson. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, as well as a minor in Art Education. The artist-educator has experience teaching all ages— from Pre-K to adults. As an educator, Emily practices choice-based learning to encourage exploration, curiosity & innovation in the classroom.

 

Who?

  • Art lovers between Kindergarten and 5th grade are strongly encouraged to register for Cadek classes.

  • Students will be in small groups according to their age to manage pacing in the classroom.

 

Where?

  • The Cadek Conservatory is located at Girls Preparatory School. We are so fortunate to be using their amazing facilities!

  • GPS is in North Chattanooga off of Hixson Pike

when?



  • Offered in 12-week increments (fall, winter & spring terms)

  • Art classes are taught after-school on a weekly basis. They are offered on Tuesdays & Wednesdays this fall.

    Tuesdays

    • 4-5pm: Kindergarten—2nd grade

    • 5:15-6:15pm: 3rd-5th grade

      WEDNESDAYS

    • 4-5pm: 3rd-5th grade

    • 5:15-6:15pm: Kindergarten—2nd grade
